Step 1 — Create the database

1. Open Notion and navigate to your workspace.
2. Create a new full-page database: type /database → Database: Full page.
3. Name it Launch Tracker.
4. Rename the default Name field to Book Title.

Step 2 — Add all fields

Add each field below using the + button in the database header:

• Pen Name — Select
• Slug — Text (URL-safe id, must be unique)
• Cover — Files & media
• Launch Date & Time — Date, with "Include time" turned on
• Status — Select, options: Upcoming / Live / Wrapped
• ARC Batch Sent, Cover Reveal Posted, Preorder Live, Launch Newsletter Sent, Launch Day Posts Scheduled, Ad Campaign Launched — all Checkbox
• Review Target, Reviews Actual, Sales Rank Snapshot — Number
• Ad Spend To Date — Number, format Dollar
• Sales Rank Updated At — Date
• Notes — Text (optional)

Step 3 — Create a row per launch

Fill in Book Title, Slug, and Launch Date & Time at minimum.

Step 4 — Share for API access

1. Go to Settings → Connections → Develop or manage integrations.
2. Create a new integration, name it Launch Day.
3. Copy the Internal Integration Token — you'll paste this into your setup page.
4. Back in the database, click ··· → Connect to → select your integration.
5. Copy the database URL — the long hex string is your Database ID, also needed during setup.
